What is "Ital Landrace Ganja?” Let’s break it down. “Ganja” is Jamaican for cannabis, marijuana, weed. “Landrace” refers to the strain’s genetics, which are old-school and have not been subject to extensive hybridization or feminization (chemically-induced reversing of females to shed pollen.) Landrace strains are produced thru male-female breeding, resulting in stable populations with relative uniformity, developed over generations of selective breeding.
“Ital” is a Rastafari word referring to the “vitality” of plants grown in harmony with nature, with a primary goal to increase liveliness. The life energy within all beings is referred to as “Livity.” A common tenet of Rastafari beliefs is what you put into your body should enhance Livity, rather than reduce it. The general principle is that ganja and food should be natural and directly from the earth. One with all. In this way, Ital is similar to the Japanese “Shinto” belief system – We are all of the Earth.
That’s how our Lamb’s Breath seed plants are grown – from the earth, outdoors, in healthy living soil, using organic Ital methods, selected to produce vigorous plants with strong potency, high levels of diverse terpenes, and outstanding sativa traits.

Once most of the seeds are dark and hard, it’s time to chop the seed moms and hang them to dry for a few weeks. Plants are hung in a well-ventilated space, in shear bags to catch any fallen seeds.
As the plants have dried and test results have come back from the lab, it’s time to break up the sticky, sweet, pungent buds to remove the seeds from the flowers.
Stems are removed, so that only seeds and crushed nugs remain.
The seed and nug mixture is run through a table-top seed cleaner, which separates the seeds from the “chaff.”
Seeds are run through the cleaner 3 or 4 times to remove all non-seed materials.
The resulting “clean” seeds are ready to be inspected and hand-selected for sale to customers.
A handy pill sorter tray is used to separate dark, hard seeds from lighter seeds, which are less likely to germinate. No light seeds are sold! Only the hardest, darkest seeds are sent to customers.
The pill sorter tray is used to place 10 seeds each in small resealable bags.
The lot number of the seed mom is recorded on seed packet labels, which also show the seed mom’s total cannabinoid content, terpene test result, and other information required by law.
Seed packets are put together.
Every seed packet is inspected and stapled shut.
As orders are received, products are drawn from inventory.
