My Lamb’s Breath cannabis plots are doing great! The plants are six to ten feet tall and the buds are getting fat! There have been no issues with powdery mildew or botrytis. This is not a surprise, because my landrace genetics and soil building program result in plants which are vigorous and disease resistant.
The aroma is intoxicating! Sweet and floral, with notes of pine and citrus. And so sticky! The trichomes are still developing, but, already, the flowers are covered with shiny trichomes, filling with cannabinoids and terpenes.
While there is some genetic variation between plants, the phenotypes display strong sativa qualities, with narrow leaves, long nodes, and brilliant flowers. My Legend plants have reddish-purple stems and flower pistils, while the Respect plants are greener, with white flower pistils. None have the wide, dark green leaves found on indica plants. This indicates that my breeding program is working as designed.
I have been selecting my breeding stock with several goals – vigor, cannabinoid potency, high terpene content, and sativa traits. Thus far, my plants are incredibly vigorous and display strong sativa traits. Laboratory analysis of flower samples will reveal the cannabinoid and terpene levels.
Stay tuned!
